This train was not a real Trans Europ Express train, but it was internally designated TEE by the Deutsche Bundesbahn. To the public the trains were presented with their LH (Lufthansa) numbers, and the train was accessible anly to those holding airline tickets. For completeness the trains are shown here. The designations TEE 61-68 were used internally until the winter of 1985/86, TEE 1001-1008 from the summer of 1986 and LH 1001-1008 to the public. The trains were only shown in the Lufthansa timetable. The route was: Düsseldorf Flughafen-Düsseldorf- Köln=Deutz-Köln-Bonn-Frankfurt Flughafen, or the reverse. The trains were still running summer 1987, the last season these trains were running was in the winter of 1992/93. Times shown are those for the period March-June 1987.
